Welcome to Shapes & Things, an independent art collective based in West London. We are dedicated to curating events, exhibitions, and workshops across the UK. Our mission is to provide opportunities for upcoming, emerging, and early-career artists from all backgrounds. Specialising in art exhibitions and collaborative projects, our endeavours include craft markets, live music, tattoo pop-ups, and workshops.

Our initiative was born out of the realisation that there is a pressing need for an authentic creative environment. We envisioned creating spaces where diverse forms of art could seamlessly coexist and be celebrated — a place designed to cultivate connections among artists and art lovers alike.

We want to cultivate a community of like-minded creatives who resonate with our core values of art, compassion, collaboration, and respect. Since 2021, we have engaged with a diverse mix of artists spanning various mediums, including craft makers, printers, painters, musicians, performance artists, tattooists, jewellery makers, moving image creators, installation artists, and more. Beyond individual artists, our events have fostered partnerships with other art collectives, venues, and art galleries throughout the UK.

Shapes & Things is more than just an art collective. It is a space where creatives can not only express their narratives but also contribute to building a better and more respectful future for the art world.
